  1. Preliminary Exam (Prelims): This is your first test. It is only a Screening Test (पास करना जरूरी है), but its marks are not added to the final merit list.

    • Total Marks: 150 Marks.
    • Total Time: 2 Hours.
    • Negative Marking: Yes, there is negative marking. If you give a wrong answer, your marks will be cut.
    • Syllabus: General Studies (History, Geography, Science, Bihar GK, and Current Affairs).
  2. Main Exam (Mains): If you pass the Prelims exam, you will give the Mains exam. This is a Written Exam (Pen and Paper test) where you have to write long answers.
    • General Hindi (100 Marks): This is only a pass paper (Qualifying). You only need 30% marks to pass.
    • GS Paper 1 (300 Marks): Marks added to the final list.
    • GS Paper 2 (300 Marks): Marks added to the final list.
